Yes, Ashwin. A post on my on Rave... I would've like some photos, but Tom reserved his own (which he still hasn't posted) and you already posted the others.
It was a success. I know I went all-out on audio and lighting and what not, but that's good once in a while. Don't expect a similar setup for anything I might host in the future though, unless I charge $5 entry. Now there's an idea! Silly someone has never thought of that before. Oh hang on!
Thanks for all your gifts. I received copious amounts of alcohol and now my parents think I'm an alcoholic. A case of Heinies, 6pack of Amsterdams and Becks, two 4pack of Grolsch cans and Ryan gave me a selection of original, weird, old school beers from Belgium, England and Germany (v.cool idea). Oh and a bottle of Frangelico and one Corona and Grolsch swingtop. All this booze will last me at least a lifetime, maybe one year for the average drinker, or one night if your name is Daniel. Got a funky turning Discoball light for my room from Bianca & co. (It's on right now!) and two shirts from BJ. Cam, Marion, Tess, Jo and Lindsay; thanks for the card, but it was my 17th, not my 18th :S. Tom hit the spot with the new Fresh air CD and a personalised birthday card. Those lacking creativity were generous in their donations. Oh and thanks for all the lovely and heart-warming messages you wrote on my whiteboard. Good to know many of you wish to carry my child and think I am a sex God.
Tom kindly donated his time on Friday afternoon to help clear out the garage and even put up some of the deco. The next morning I picked up the speakers and lights and that took some time to set up. A 2700W Strobe light, a Magic Gobo fx light, a UV light, a mint flavoured smoke machine, two 450W speakers and one 10 inch 400W Sub. The place was hooked up and rdy to RAAAAAAAAAAAVE. Clearly all of this beats anything Winter Enchanted or Kryptonite could've come up with... Pfft. Who do they think they are calling their little 6000 ppl gathering a Rave?

The Rave at its high
The glowsticks I bought were quickly consumed by eager Ravers. Even some of the LED Rave Rings. Lol. We just needed some much anticipated Darude to set the mood. None of that R&B, Urban stuff. *Regurgitates*. We got some good Tiesto going near the end (Love comes again and Just Be). My room, which was to serve merely as storage for personal goods and alcohol was abused my two individuals who polluted my bed. Ok, only exaggerating.
Nothing got broken which was good. I took the empties to the depot today; the official count of all bottles and cans: 234. A little dissapointing I know.
Oh yes, to all the girls (or guys?). Some jewellery was left behind and found on the floor. I know Cam, you lost part of your earring well I found two earring restants; one is two silver straight bits with a little green ball in the middle and the other is gold coloured circle with little torquoise balls (3 pairs) hanging off it. Also a necklace with green and blue beads and gold bits in between. Wow, describing jewellery in words is harder than it may seem.
Thanks to all that came, thanks to those that helped out, setting up and cleaning the next day (Tom, Fardz0r, Jason, Josh, Shwin). Also thanks to my paren... ok STOP. This is sounding too much like an Oscar acceptance speech...
PS. Now that we're into the whole awards thing;
And the Foolery Award goes to... Alexander Cashmore!. Sorry to steal your job Dan...
