Newcomers to the Blogging World
It is pleasing indeed to see some other people take up the challenge and commitment of blogging~! My main idea behind my blog was to start up a little community of blogs with my friends. What friends? "ha-ha-ha". I just put that in there so that nobody else would make that stupid obvious joke. Anyway, Tom and Daniel are among the first to now have started. And remember, of those IBers among you, blogging counts to creativity for CAS hours! SCORE! Ok, please understand that the following blogs are still in their developing stages and are not yet in full working order. By the way, for those who don't know: Blog comes from We[blog] and could be seen as a journal but frankly it is far more than that!
Daniel's blog ~ the-untold.blogspot.com
Tom's blog ~ tom-dot-com.blogspot.com
I've got their links up under Blogs! and soon, you won't be restricted to reading solely my material but you will be able to explore these two new Blogs as well! hurray! and good onya you guys for starting one. You would make mother blog proud!
Any others who want to start a weblog, but are not sure how; visit www.blogger.com to create your own domain and from there you will need to construct your template and other things in order to make it look goood. I can help you with that if you must. Software like MS frontpage or Macromedia Dreamweaver are always handy. Sweet.
Let us continue our holiday mode that came about 2 days ago, by doing no fkng work at all!
OH yes! I forgot, it is/was my dad's 50th birthday today. We bought him a big telescope land viewer thing, so now we can look at various objects on land in the night sky from our house. Apart from that, it was just a normal working day, however we did have a nice dinner at Eagle on the Hill lookout finishing off with Cold Rock, down at the parade. Yummm.. Also today, we got absolutely flooded by overseas phone calls from Dutch ppl even I have never heard of, luckily they just wanted to speak to my dad. We actually couldn't leave the house at one point because one person after the other would ring. Yep, so that makes both my parents 50 and over, I'm not sure what that means but I'm sure it could be good and bad.
Tomorrow we will celebrate the most pointless achievement in our lives... The obtaining of our MYP certificate. It takes us back to remember to horrible days of desperately trying to battle the MYP personal project, and three technology assignments of a similar nature, all at once. That doesn't even seem so bad after realising it is really all for nothing, because the MYP diploma means shite all and doesn't grant us anything. As long as Larkin is happy, I'm also happy to have done MYP. Anyway, I'll see most of you there tomorrow night, except those few dropouts, here and there and everywhere.
Ok, I feel fatigued. Term One break, so close, yet so far. Hang in there ppl!
