Mozilla Firefox

When it comes to Internet Browsers, people have been pretty patient and accepting. The only options up until recently have been Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. Although these browsers generally do a good job, (ie. they show you webpages), they really lack the needs of modern day Internet surfers.

There's a little something called Mozilla Firefox. It's a relatively new web-browser with over 25 million users world-wide already. It's considerably more efficient than standard web-browsers and does all the little things we hate doing ourselves like blocking pop-ups and downloading plugins.

Perhaps this comparison will help you understand the difference.

If Internet Explorer is the "Paint" of web-browsing then, Firefox is Adobe Photoshop.

Both programs allow you to surf the web, (make pictures). One just does a damn better job of it. I don't know about Mac's Safari, but Firefox is available to Windows, Mac OS and Linux O-systems.

I could go on and list all the nifty little features about Mozilla Firefox and why it is so good. But your best bet is to try it out for yourself. You can always go back to using IE if the change is too much for you. I think you'll find it really easy to use. You can get cool skins and themes which is always good.

Get Firefox!

Go here to download Mozilla Firefox

Go here to Spread FireFox

I've added the a little button in the sidebar to help spread firefox. Also notice the completely unrelated counter. I don't particularly like counters much because I don't think they're a fair indicator of how "good" a website is. But I'm still curious as to what traffic the DutchOven is getting on a day to day basis.

One thing's for sure, I'm never going back to IE.
