Nerdism and Easter
Yes. I think it's safe to say my passion for Counter-Strike is at an all-time high. As promised I did take advantage of the daylight savings last night, and played with Tom, who came home at 1 (12) and we played till 4:00 (3:00).
It was Friday night when Marten and Bec were editing photos on Marten's computer (in the adjacent room) when apparently I exclaimed "WAAA THAT WAS A SCOPELESS HEADSHOT!!". For some of you this may be meaningless. Allow me to explain. When bearing a sniper rifle, be this a Steyr Scout, Artic Warfare Rifle (more hatingly known as AWP), Sig SG-550 Commando or a H&K G3/SG-1 Sniper Rifle, you obviously have a scope. The only way to know exactly where you are shooting, ie there is a little aiming reticle, is when you are zoomed in, or scoped. HENCE, it could be considered impossible to aim properly when you are not zoomed. HOWEVER, I pulled off the unthinkable and actually shot a guy in the face whilst being unscoped. Hence I am considered to be 1337. Any questions?
Happy Easter everyone. I know I woke up to a deluxe Easter breakfast. Together with Christmas and birthdays, Easter is really the only time our family have an official 'thing'. It's good though, I like it. We talked about how people suck at driving and road fatalities especially around this time of year. This allowed for us to pay out Marten about being ticketed for doing 135 on the freeway outside Melbourne on his recent trip.
I may be getting too old for it, but we the traditional Easter egg hunt was held. Up for grabs: 5 Easter eggs and one Easter bunny. Anyway, chocolate's always good.
