The Tour Down Under and Finding Nemo
Hello again.
As I am trying to figure out how to operate DreamWeaver (computer illiterate definition: website maker thingy)I thought I may just post another post post post. The holidays are passing by very rapidly and school is just around the corner. In these final precious days of freedom I haven't been doing a whole lot. On Saturday the 24th I went down to Pt. Noarlunga to see the Tour Down Under. We were at the McEvoy's beach shack and we saw the riders pass a total of three times! Woah! But they were about a tenth of the equation. As most of the parade was taken up by friggin cops on motorcycles doing no-handers and abusing their sirens like little kids. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Apart from the cop motorcycles there were cops in cars, ambulances and obviously the support vehicles. It all got better when a station wagon pulled up and ladies in red dresses started handing out these red blow-in-them-and-a-loud-annoying-noise comes out. I really forgot the word. Anyway about ten little buggers were blowing this things as if their life depended on it. Aggravation mounted. Nah, really I am exaggerating the events of that day, but otherwise there is no fun in regurgitate all the "then this happened, then I did this, this person did this" information. Anyway, Mr Daniel Moloney and his family rocked up as well and it made it all the more fun :|
Onto the Sunday, the 25th, otherwise renowned for, little sister's birthday. Yay. Juliette turned 13 and what a glorious day it was. We had a BBQ lunched organised at our place, with just a bunch of our family friends. Majority being Dutch. It was good. Again I had the fortune of big Dan joining me as well as BPBJ! (Ben) We watched finding Nemo. That's the third time I've seen it now but it doesn't bore me yet. Time to recap on some of the greatest quotes from Finding Nemo: (people who haven't seen the movie, SHAME ON YOU and you might want to skip this part.
~"Es-ca-pé" -Dory reading the word "escape" in the submarine shark chase scene
~"I shall resist" -Jacques the shrimp after being told not to clean
~"Curse you AquaScum!!"-Gurgle hating the new fishtank filter
~"Hey! You guys made me ink..." - Peach the little pink octupus after being scared
~"I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy!" -Dory and the tiny jellyfish
~"I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine. If I am to change this image, I must first change myself. Fish are friends, not food" -Bruce the Shark reciting his pledge
~"Yeah, we saw you and we were like "whoa!" and you were like "whoa..." and we went like, "whoa...!"" -Crush the turtle
~"Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!" -The seagulls
~"Dolphins! They think they're so cute! Oh, look at me, I'm a flippy little dolphin, let me flip for you!" Chum the shark
~"...and the sea cucumber turns to the mollusk and says, "With friends like these, who needs anemones?" -Marlin getting his joke right
Lol and who can forget Dory speaking Whale! "Lemme try humpback" "That sounded a bit orkish" bwahahah.
Well what a great movie it was.

I just got back from Officeworks where I stacked up on big lever arch folders and what not. School hasn't even started and I'm already feeling the pressure. :S
Wish me luck
Until next time
